Broken, laying in the gutters of
the streets,
in cities that no longer value, or
even want us, anymore…
Even so—
[To rip off Hemingway, here, just a
bit… ] …
Even so, some of us are strong at
these broken places,
and refuse to
not see the stars,
even from this vantage point!
