More than just a newspaper, Street Spirit provides a platform for art making in historically marginalized communities, and gives people experiencing homelessness and poverty the opportunity to earn an income on their own time. But we can’t do this work alone. Here’s how you can sustain our critical work of providing a platform for unhoused voices, and help us break new ground this year.
Sidekick: $500
An annual donation of $500 will fill in the gaps in our ability to deliver vital support to the people who visit our South Berkeley drop-in center and contribute to our newspaper each month.
Individuals, nonprofits and businesses that sponsor at this level will be highlighted on our sponsorship web page, and in the organization’s annual report. An annual gift of $500 will also be highlighted in more than 50,000 Street Spirit Resource Guides that will soon be distributed in the community in 2026 (with your support).
Homie: $1,000
An annual donation of $1,000 will allow Street Spirit to maintain our operations month-in and month-out.
Individuals, nonprofits and businesses that sponsor at this level will be highlighted in the Catalyst Sponsorship section of the web page, and in the organization’s annual report. A Catalyst Sponsor will also be highlighted with their logo in a special section of the newspaper (12 editions) and published in more than 50,000 Street Spirit Resource guides that will soon be distributed in the community in 2026 (with your support).
Angel: $2,500
A gift at this level allows Street Spirit to plan for the future — launching new programs like the Street Spirit poetry workshop for unhoused people, and the Street Spirit resource guide.
Individuals, nonprofits and businesses that sponsor at the $2,500 sponsorship will be highlighted with a logo in the Change Maker Sponsorship section of the website and in the organization’s annual report. Sponsors will also be highlighted with their logo in a special section of the newspaper (12 editions) and in more than 50,000 Street Spirit Resource Guides that will soon be distributed in the community in 2026 (with your support).
Soulmate: $5,000
An annual gift of $5,000 will ensure that we are sustainable and successful well into the future. Individuals, nonprofits and businesses that sponsor at this level will be highlighted on the homepage of the Street Spirit website, and in the Visionary Sponsorship section of the website.
