Zines

We are thrilled to publish the long-form story of the life of 300, a life-long Berkeley resident and community leader who tragically passed away in 2019 after being evicted from his home. We are publishing this story online as well as in a print zine: a beautiful, 78-page booklet, filled with with original illustrations. The story is profound: the kind that just hits harder in print.

We are selling the zines for a donation of $20 or more. There are two ways to get a copy:

1. Email us!

Get in touch if you’d like us to mail you a copy (streetspiritnews@gmail.com). We’ll ask you to donate online and then show us your receipt, and send us your mailing address.

2. Buy a copy from a vendor

Our newspaper vendors will be selling copies of “The Eviction Machine” in the East Bay alongside the copies of Street Sheet they have been since we have been out of print! Look out for your local vendor in Berkeley and Oakland.
